Editor's Letter: Issue 1!

Welcome to CHACCharged!!! We're so glad you're reading this!

The 2016 Captaincy Team has been working hard on launching this blog all year, and we’re so happy to finally unveil it, and hopefully get you all excited about it as a student platform in 2017 and beyond. CHACCharged is written for students, by students, and non-committee members are welcome to submit or pitch pieces – we want to see your articles, opinion pieces, art, music, photography, whatever!

Our first batch of content features Anna Baskerfield-Groves and Kathleen Loughnan’s hard-hitting investigative piece on a group of Year 11 boys who are attempting to set the World Record for speedy Weetbix consumption - the write-up is without a doubt one of the most refreshing (not to mention hilarious) insights I’ve had into the extraordinary community we have here at school, and you can expect to see more pieces just like it in upcoming issues.
